Vionna's Oh Baby class was just what I needed to get back in shape after having my
first baby. Vionna made me work hard but it was fun too! There were a wide variety
of exercises including cardio and strength training. It was also great to be able
to exercise while also bringing my baby. I recommend it to all women who want to get
in shape after having a baby. |

Baby's Name: Sam
Taking the Oh Baby class was a great way to start exercising again after recovering
from my c-section. There was lots of individualized attention, and it was good to
combine cardio and strength training in each workout session. Vionna had the
perfect balance of encouraging us to go beyond where we felt we wanted to go and
respecting that our bodies had just been through a major and strenuous
transformation. She was able to adapt each exercise depending on people's
strengths, whether the babies were fussing, etc. I felt strong and pleased with
myself after each class. It was also helpful to be in a group with babies who were
slightly older than my son so I could see what came next developmentally.

Allison Brown
Baby's Name: Zora
Birth Date: March 2006
I started working out with Vionna when I was just a few weeks pregnant with my
second child. Thanks to Vionna, I was healthy and fit during my pregnancy; I
endured what would otherwise have been a very difficult labor, in large part because
I was in such good shape; and my recovery was quicker than it would have been if I
had not been working out with Vionna. I continue to work out with Vionna now, more
than two years later, because she makes working out fun and (most important)
effective, varying the workout each week so that I never know what to expect and
producing amazing results. |

Alicia Irlandez
Baby's Name: Julian Irlandez
Birth Date: May, 2007
Length of Labor/Delivery: 7 hours
I think most people look at pregnancy as a time to slack off, but by putting in a
little effort, I think a lot of the aches and pains of pregnancy can be avoided.
Additionally, I think a lot of the depression caused by your changing body can be
alleviated by keeping in shape and building up your strength. My body actually
looks better now than pre-pregnancy in a lot of ways. My butt is curvier, my legs
are stronger, my back is more toned, and my arms are MUCH more toned. Plus, I never
got to the point of feeling too weak or tired to do things. Staying fit kept me
active in all the other parts of my life. The shock of gaining so much weight in
such a short time was easier to handle with all of the compliments. |

Illia Schwarz
Baby's Name: Theo Schwarz
Birth Date: May, 2007
Length of Labor/Delivery: 9 hours (from water breaking to delivery)
I have been training with Vionna for almost two years. I took her prenatal fitness
class during my pregnancy and then I took her Mom & Baby class. I liked that
Vionna knew which exercises we could and could not do during pregnancy and that she
was able to select exercises that nonetheless gave us a good workout. I had an easy
pregnancy and an easy delivery. I think that being physically fit allowed me to have
the stamina to get through my labor. It has been four months since I gave birth,
and I am almost back to my pre-pregnancy weight (2-3 lbs to go!) and my muscle tone
appears to be returning fairly quickly. |
